The XTEC DMX Snapshot is a stand-alone DMX-512 replay unit, intended for industrial applications that require simple control of lighting or special effects equipment.
Up to four “snapshots” (or scenes) can be recorded from an external lighting controller, and then recalled via relays, switches, or external DC voltage sources. Various operating modes can be selected via a DIP switch, including alternating and random flicker. Speeds are adjustable via a simple trimmer pot.
The product can also act as a failover backup for a main lighting controller, where it will output an emergency lighting state if the main DMX fails.
All snapshot data is stored on a removable MicroSD card, for easy backup, duplication, and maintenance.
The DMX Snapshot can be powered from 9 to 24v DC.
Plug-in screw terminal connectors, to save time and prevent wiring errors if changing a module. Clamping terminals accept up to 16AWG conductors.
Two opto-isolated digital inputs can recall up to 4 snapshots. DC power is available on the inputs connector.
Buttons are used for recording and manual recall.
Snapshots are stored on removable MicroSD card, for easy backup and transfer.
A Fade control adjusts cross-fade time or flicker speed (depending on the Mode).
DMX-512 input, with LED. When valid data is present it will pass through to DMX Out, and can be recorded as a snapshot.
If no data is present at DMX In, then snapshot data will be transmitted from DMX Out.
